RC batteries should be selected by voltage, capacity, discharge rating, connector and physical size. A battery that looks powerful on paper can still be a poor fit if the pack is too heavy, too tall or uses the wrong connector.
For safer operations, charge with a balance charger, store packs at storage voltage, inspect swelling before every session and keep a fire-resistant charging area. Bulk buyers should label packs by purchase batch and retire damaged units early.
